Kansas City among top cities for entrepreneurs in the world
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — According to the results of the Global Entrepreneurship Congress’ Cities Challenge, Kansas City is one of the top 5 cities for entrepreneurs worldwide. According to its website, the GEC Cities Challenge was based on evaluations of a number of “up-and-coming metropolitan areas that are rapidly boosting entrepreneurship, attracting talent, and leveraging public assets.”
The challenge evaluated cities based on metrics measuring the level of a city’s entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial leadership, entrepreneurial solutions emerging in city life, a city’s potential to continue its entrepreneurial momentum and more. Buenos Aires took the top spot, with Genk, Belgium Madison, Wisconsin and Yerevan, Armenia named as the other finalist cities.
