Springfield one of the nation’s best cities to start a business
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — According to a new study by personal finance website WalletHub, Springfield is one of the best cities in the United States to start a business. The city ranked third overall but No. 1 for access to resources.
The study looked at the 150 largest cities in the nation and factored in 13 metrics common to each city’s access to resources and business environment. Springfield ranked behind Shreveport, Louisiana, Tulsa, Oklahoma and ahead of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Jackson, Mississippi.
