WalletHub names Springfield in Top Five Cities to Start a Business

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Personal finance site WalletHub has named Springfield as one of the best cities in the nation to start a business.

WalletHub analyzed 13 variables in relation to access to resources and business environment. The study evaluated 150 of the largest US cities in regard to financing accessibility, office space affordability, employee availability, five-year survival rate, and other business signifiers to rank the best cities to start a business. Springfield came in at No. 3.

The city also topped a related list regarding resources for startups.
